Standard 6-bunk DOC hut at 164 m in Mount Richmond Forest Park (Marlborough, NZ), in the Pelorus valley. No booking required: Standard ticket (adults $10, children $5, free under 4) or Backcountry Hut Pass. Neighboring stages: Captains Creek 2 h, Rocks 3 h, Roebuck 4 h, Mt Fell 8 h / 10 km. Mt Fell route: many fallen trees, off-track navigation required.
