A standard 6-bunk DOC hut at 909 m in the Rangitata-Rakaia area (Mid & South Canterbury, NZ). No DOC track: self-navigation with map/compass/GPS required. The 4×4 route to the Clyde River crosses private land: permission from Erewhon Station is required. No booking: Standard ticket (adults $10, youth $5, under 5 free) or Backcountry Hut Pass.
