The place

Small open house with fireplace at 950 m in the Cévennes national park (core zone, Lozère). Broken door but possible to sleep in the loft. Poor condition: dirty (rubbish, rubble) including outside, no shutters or closing mechanism, an opening at the bottom giving directly onto the road with no door and opening onto the whole room. Chimney flue made of pine branches, so a fire hazard. Poor insulation.
