Manto-oja autiotupa

The place

Free Metsähallitus autiotupa located in Finnish Lapland, part of the network of open cabins maintained by the state forestry agency. Cabin close to the Manto-oja tulentekopaikka (fire site) and the Mantoselkä sector. Shared shelter, free access under the general autiotupa rules: open, unlocked, stay limited to one or two nights, no booking required. No supplies, no running water or electricity; basic equipment (fireplace, bench, table).
