Malghetto Copai
The place
Small alpine pasture hut converted into a high-altitude shelter, located at about 2000 m near the Malghetto di Mezzana lakes in the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park (Val di Sole, Trentino). A building characteristic of the local alpine style, usable as an emergency bivouac and equipped with a water fountain. The site offers an exceptional panoramic view over the Presanella range, the Brenta Dolomites, the Adamello group and the Cevedale massif. Easy access via the Contrè-Malga Copai gondola from Marilleva 900 (arrival point at 1882 m at Malga Panciana) or via SAT trails from the Lago dei Caprioli. A key stage on the Sentiero dei Pastori and the classic loops around the Lago delle Malghette.
