Lovska koča na Saneku
The place
Hunting cabin (lovska koča) located in the municipality of Bohinj (Slovenia), on the slope of the Sanek in the south-eastern sector of Triglav National Park (Julian Alps). Wood and stone building operated by the local hunting society, normally locked and reserved for members; free access is not guaranteed. The area is crossed by trails leading to Komna and the Bogatin plateau, classic routes of the southern Julian Alps. Seen from the outside, the building provides shelter in bad weather for hikers caught in a storm on these sparsely equipped grassy ridges.
