The place

Unstaffed cabin of the DNT Narvik network, located in Norddalen in Skjomen (Nordland, northern Norway), at the foot of the Storstein massif, near the peaks of Huinarcóhkka (1788 m) and Ippocóhkka (1727 m). Also known as Lossihytta. Locked with a standard DNT key, sold at Sparebanken Narvik, Visit Narvik and Sportcentret. Bunks are allocated bed by bed. Separate rates for DNT members and non-members, with several age categories. The Skjomfjellet/Narvikfjellene roads serving several DNT Narvik cabins are open to public traffic from around 1 June to 1 October. One of the 15 cabins in the DNT Narvik network across the Narvikfjellan.
