The place

Unstaffed cabin managed by Bodø og Omegns Turistforening (BOT), at 475 meters elevation, a gateway to mountain adventures on the Saltfjellet (Nordland, Norway). 33 beds that can be pre-booked. Accommodation spread across three units: a main building (Hytte 1) in two sections — the larger with a big living room-kitchenette and four bedrooms totaling 14 beds, including four double beds; the smaller with a small living room-kitchenette and one bedroom with 5 beds/6 spaces; and an annex (Hytte 2) with three bedrooms totaling 8 beds, including one double bed. Electricity in all buildings. The large section has a large refrigerator and a stove, the small section a kitchenette hotplate, and the annex a standard stove. Heating by wood stove. A very popular cabin thanks to its accessibility combined with first-rate hiking terrain.
