A standard 18-bunk DOC hut at 519 m in Arthur's Pass National Park (Canterbury / west coast, NZ). Original squared-timber floor, restored in 1993 while preserving its 1930s character. Radio permanently removed. Strong year-round rat presence: protect food overnight. On the Te Araroa Trail (separate pass required). Honesty box.
