Free Metsähallitus autiotupa in the Litokaira Wilderness Area, a roughly 300 km² tract in North Ostrobothnia designated Natura 2000 and part of Finland's mire reserve programme. Free stopover or overnight stay for ski or hiking crossings of the marshes. Standard autiotupa equipment (bunks, wood stove, sometimes gas). Firewood publicly supplied. No booking, 1 to 2 nights maximum under the Finnish open-hut system.
