The place

The Litj-Hiåsjøbua cabin on the shore of Litl-hiåsjøen at Kvikne (Innlandet, Norway), managed by Kvikne Fjellstyre. 6 sleeping places: a 5-bed room with a kitchen corner, and a small room with a wood stove and 1 bed. Outdoor toilets, wood stove, propane cooker, firewood provided. Summer access via trail from Litl-Svergjesjøen; vehicle access possible via a toll road toward Bjørklund and Svergjesjøene. Activities: summer and winter fishing, boat and net rental (300 NOK/day). Rate 100 NOK/person/night, 300 NOK for a family. Open year-round, no booking required for overnight stays. Donations encouraged to cover propane and firewood.
