The place
Lisbanis hermano (Lisbanis' brother, casa particular) in Holguín province, Cueto/Mayarí area (northeastern Cuba, Cuba), at 92 m elevation, on the foothills of the Sierra del Cristal. New Cuba cluster appeared in batch 332. State-registered casa particular (OFAC/Ecocubatur authorization 1997, private room for tourists 20-30 CUC/night, 30,000 casas in Cuba subject to the sanctions), in an area of humid plain and Sierra del Cristal National Park (endemism: Pinares de Mayarí Pinus cubensis "Cuban pine" and the almiquí Solenodon cubanus, a near-fossil mammal endemic to the island with 20 million years of isolated evolution).
