Refuge Liguori

The place

Refuge in the Forêt Habitée sector of the Massif de Petite-Rivière-Saint-François (Charlevoix, Quebec). The original Liguori refuge, managed by the Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix, was transferred in 2021 to Le Massif de Charlevoix under a partnership agreement. A new refuge was inaugurated just before Christmas 2022, at 776 m elevation, with a spectacular view over the Saint Lawrence, Isle-aux-Coudres and the surrounding mountains. Backcountry area on Mont à Liguori, north of the ski resort, featuring 3 peaks at 800 m, 550 m and 425 m accessible by skins or on foot. Hike from the base: 14-15 km round trip, about 775 m of elevation gain.
