Lienzer Hütte: The Ideal Mountain Hut The Lienzer Hütte is a hut run by the Lienz section of the Austrian Alpine Association. It is open from early June to early October, offering shelter to mountain lovers. In winter, a winter room is accessible to members of alpine associations for a small fee. Access By car via Lienz in East Tyrol, then towards Nussdorf-Debant. Follow the good-quality track to the Seichenbrunn car park at 1686 m altitude. Routes Route 1: From the Seichenbrunn car park, take the nature and heritage trail leading to the Lienzer Hütte (about 1h30 walk). Route 2: From the Seichenbrunn car park, follow the good-quality track to the Lienzer Hütte (about 1 hour walk). Route 3: From Lienz, take the cable car up to Zettersfeld, then the 4-seat chairlift to Steinermandl. Then follow the marked Lienzer Höhenweg trail (path no. 938) to the Lienzer Hütte (about 4h30 walk).
