The place

A log house belonging to the Kárpát Egyesület Eger, in the Berva Valley (Bükk, 10 km from Eger, Hungary). **Built in the 1930s**, suitable for weekend getaways. Sleeps 3 across two heated rooms, camping possible nearby. Vehicle access possible, with the final 300-400 m on an unpaved forest road (impassable in heavy rain or during forestry work). Open year-round. Winter rates (1 Jan-15 April, 15 Oct-31 Dec) 15,000 Ft/night; summer (16 April-14 Oct) 12,000 Ft/night. Free for KEE members and Egererdő Zrt employees.
