The place

Pastoral chalet at 1975 m in the Beaufortain, owned by the Commune de Hautecour (Savoie). Occupied by a shepherd during the summer grazing season. Two adjoining structures: a usable stone shelter and a former, quite dilapidated wooden chalet. Access via pastoral tracks from Le Breuil and La Faverge (Hautecour), or straight south from the col du Bozon. For information, contact the town hall of Hautecour.
