The place

Private alpine chalet at 1469 m in the Parc naturel régional du Jura vaudois, Nyon district (canton of Vaud, Switzerland), at the eastern entrance to the Creux du Croue at the foot of the Noirmont. Only the toilets and a small lean-to are open to the public — the main building remains private. A pasture setting in the Vaud Jura popular for hiking. Consider it a short stop rather than an overnight stage.
