The place

Free hut (autiotupa) managed by Metsähallitus in the northeastern part of Hossa National Park (Kainuu, eastern Finland), on the south shore of Lake Laukkujärvi. A former fishing sauna converted for this use. Four beds, fireplace for heating. No sauna, no firewood provided, no water, no toilets. Free, shared accommodation, first come first served, stay limited to one or two nights per autiotupa rules.
