The place
Free 3-person cabin near Langskarneset in the southern part of Eiterådalen (Vefsn, Helgeland, Nordland, Norway). Built just before the Second World War, probably in 1939. Natural endpoint of the Eiterådalen-Stavassdalen route; Stavassetra serves as a midway stop. Unlocked cabin, in good condition, accessible a short distance from the road. Maintained by Vefsn Jeger- og Fiskerforening (VJFF, a hunting and fishing association based in Mosjøen).
