Landecker Skihütte
The place
Self-service hut of the Schiklub Landeck, perched in the Urgtal on the Venet massif (Tyrol, Austria), east of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis resort. Built in 1919 by members of the club founded in 1908 — the original application for permission in the Fisser Alm area dates back to 1911. A rustic building recently fully renovated: 16 to 25 cm of insulation and spruce panelling, an open space up to the ridge beam for volume and warmth, funded by countless hours of volunteer work and about €100,000 in donations. Serves as a base for ski touring routes to the Venet and Tschirgant, as well as for summer hikes and the crossing of the famous E5 trek (from Oberstdorf to Merano). Booking through the SKL.
Getting there
Approach from Zams or Fiss via the Venet trails; a possible stage on the E5 trek. Booking via Schiklub Landeck.
