Former Soviet haymaking or climbers' camp (Sennoï = "hay-related", a waypoint on route 30 GKZ Massimova-Kacha-Zilbelet), an area of Oriental beech Fagus orientalis and Pinus mugo pine stands at the foot of Nord-Chughuch (2960 m), Soviet heritage of the Valley of the Seven Lakes (Yaroslavl-Kolyma tourism of the 1970s-80s, gulag purportedly closed, Beria blamed 1953 secrecy).
