The place

Cabin at 1425 m in the Haute Chaîne du Jura Nature Reserve (Ain). Stove in a corner of the room, fairly effective. Two sleeping mats available upstairs. Magnificent large clearing offering a fine view to the left over the Dôle and the Jura range, and ahead towards the Alps and Lake Geneva. Nature reserve: dogs (even on a leash), fires, camping, foraging, motorised vehicles and dumping of rubbish are forbidden; the cabin is in an access-restricted zone during winter.
