Cabane de la Valette: Mountain Rusticity The Cabane de la Valette, perched at an altitude of 1,586 m between Cellier and the Col de la Madeleine, is a simple, authentic refuge, ideal for hikers seeking peace and quiet. Unfortunately, the hut is currently under renovation and is definitively closed for the time being. Access and Location The path to the hut starts from the road between Cellier and the Col de la Madeleine. Hikers must climb the Combe de la Valette, following a more or less well-marked trail. Despite its temporary closure, the hut remains visible from the trail. Important Information Current status: UNDER RENOVATION. HUT PERMANENTLY CLOSED!! Bookings: Not available for now. Availability: The hut is temporarily closed to visitors.
