The place
A staffed hut in the Belledonne massif, located at 2105 m of altitude at the heart of a cirque dotted with lakes, in the Hauts de Chartreuse nature reserve. It offers 76 places in the staffed season and 18 places in the freely accessible winter shelter. A starting point or stopover on the Belledonne traverse, it serves as a base for climbing several summits and for reaching the Lacs Domenon, Robert and Merlat.

Getting there
From Freydières, about 4h climb via the waymarked trail. A technical route in winter on ski touring.
