The place

Built in 1951. From Combenoire, follow the gravel pit and then take the path towards the forest. Turn right at the first fork, then left at the next one, and follow the path for approx. 1 km. Swiss coordinates: 508130 / 166338. If the forestry staff don't need it, the municipality is very happy to make it available to walkers, provided they respect the following conditions: - occupancy is limited to one day - except in cases of distress, overnight stays are forbidden - if necessary, use must be shared with other people - reservations are not possible - fires may only be lit in the stove and with all the usual precautions; the wood used must be supplemented with deadwood found in the surrounding forest - when you leave this shelter, leave it clean and take your rubbish and empty bottles with you. The Municipality or the State foresters reserve the right to enforce these rules and to take appropriate measures if necessary, to prevent any misuse.
