The place

Contains two tables, benches, and stools inside. Outside, a picnic table with benches. Refuge belonging to the Canton of Vaud. It was built as a shelter for people working in the forest, who have priority use of it. If forestry staff don't need it, the Canton of Vaud gladly makes it available to hikers, provided they respect the following conditions: 1. Length of stay is limited to one day; 2. Except in an emergency, overnight stays are forbidden; 3. If needed, use must be shared with other people; 4. No reservations are accepted; 5. Fire may only be lit in the stove and with all the usual precautions; the wood used must be supplemented with fallen wood found in the surrounding forest; 6. When you leave this refuge, leave it clean and take all your rubbish and empty bottles with you; 7. The cantonal forestry service reserves the right to ensure this rule is respected and to take appropriate measures if necessary, to prevent any misuse.
