The place
Always open. Built in 1965. Contains a table and benches. Recommendation for shelter visitors: You are in communal and cantonal forests. The shelter you are staying in is private property of the municipality or the State. It was built as a shelter for people working in the forest. They therefore have priority use of this shelter. If forestry staff don't need it, the municipality is happy to make it available to walkers, provided they respect the following conditions: - occupancy is limited to one day - except in an emergency, overnight stays are forbidden - if needed, use must be shared with other people - no reservations are accepted - fires may only be lit in the stove, with all due precautions; the wood used must be supplemented with deadwood found in the surrounding forest, no axe. - when you leave this shelter, leave it clean and take your rubbish and empty bottles with you. The Municipality or the State foresters reserve the right to enforce these regulations and to take appropriate measures if necessary, to prevent any misuse. Swiss coordinates: 502800 / 156345 Take the chemin du Biblanc; at the edge of the woods, turn right, after the bend turn left, follow the forest path for about 400 metres.
