The place

Apparently, this building (near the Swiss border and originally used by border guards) is marked: private R.F. But it no longer seems to be in use and the door is just held shut with a wire. Reduced to a ruin by vandalism. 1 km before reaching the Chalet Gaillard. Cross-country skiing: from Bois d'Amont or Les Rousses (groomed trails) Snowshoeing: marked trail (yellow flags) recommended from Bois d'Amont Summer: on foot: PR trail marked yellow and red from Bois d'Amont or Bellefontaine.
