Forest Shelter: Rules and Recommendations The Forest Shelter is a shelter located in municipal and cantonal forests, belonging to the municipality or the State. It is intended primarily for forestry workers, but may be used by walkers subject to the following conditions: Restrictions and Recommendations Occupation limited to one day. Overnight stays formally forbidden except in cases of distress. Sharing use with other people if necessary. No booking possible. Fires allowed only in the stove, with care, using dead wood found in the surrounding area. Obligation to leave the shelter clean, taking all waste and empty bottles with you.
