A cabin of KOMATH, the federal association of Hellenic hunters, 300,000 members, founded 1949, reviving an Ottoman-Byzantine-Aristotelian tradition, in an area of beech forest and the Chortiatis range (Chalkidiki limestone range, 1000 m, Byzantine heritage). Aristotle, born in Stagira (384 BC, near modern Olympiada), wrote his History of Animals in the area now covered by the modern municipality of Aristotelis named after him, Byzantine heritage.
