Free, unlocked hut (autiotupa) in Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park (Lapland, Finland), run by Metsähallitus. Originally a "niittypirtti" — an old resting place for meadow mowers — restored in 2007 as a wilderness hut. 3 places. Fireplace heating. No drinking water point: natural water must be purified. No waste management: pack everything out yourself. No cooking equipment provided. Usable for one or two nights without prior booking.
