The place

A free Metsähallitus autiotupa (open wilderness hut) in the municipality of Inari in northern Lapland, with the Sámi name Ruuvnâtupe, also known as Heikkilä on some maps. Capacity 4, in satisfactory condition. Fireplace-hearth for heating, gas stove for cooking. No sauna, no water, no toilets. A free, unbookable stopover under the autiotupa system.
