The place
Former telegraph relay station (one of the last two preserved) in Saltfjellet-Svartisen National Park (Nordland, Norway), at 520 m, at the edge of the Krukkimyrene marshes where the Bjøllåga winds through the Bjøllådalen. 12 bunks: the main cabin (4 in a room + 4 in the common room) and a new safety cabin completed in autumn 2008 (4 bunks and a washroom). Unstaffed: full self-sufficiency required (cooking, water, cleaning).
