The place

Self-service (selvbetjent) DNT hut at 1,090 m, at the heart of the Dyraheio protected landscape area (Setesdal, Agder/Rogaland, Norway), surrounded by fish-rich lakes and peaks. Managed by Stavanger Turistforening. 16 permanent beds (duvets and pillows provided) in the main building + 2 beds in the annex; 12 additional mattresses in the mezzanine for groups. On-site supply shop and pantry. Dishes, table linen, bedding, and other supplies. No electricity: gas, wood heating, and candles. Advance booking required for the 18 open beds; standard DNT key required (DNT membership).
