Kopmajoki autiotupa

The place

Metsähallitus autiotupa in the Käsivarsi wilderness area (Enontekiö municipality, Finnish Lapland), also known by its Sámi name Goapmajohka. Open-access cabin near the Seitakivi seita and the Roaiskkehanvárri summit. Basic building heated by a wood stove, gas stove, sleeping platforms, outdoor dry toilet and woodshed. Easy access via a roughly 3 km trail, a little over an hour's walk. Traditional first-come, first-served use — no booking, in keeping with the rules of Finnish autiotupat (short stays, leaving room for the next travelers).
