Koliba pod Barancom (Sheepfold below the Baranec) in the western High Tatras, Liptovský Mikuláš/Žiarska dolina area (Slovakia), at 1411 m altitude, on the north-eastern foothills of the Baranec summit (2185 m). A koliba (a traditional wooden sheepfold used during summer grazing for making bryndza, a PDO cheese) in the glacial valley of Žiarska dolina. An area of Swiss pine, larch, and subalpine calcareous grassland in the TANAP national park.
