The place
Slovenian refuge at 1102 m on the southwest slope of Kremžarjev vrh, in the Pohorje massif (northeast Slovenia). The westernmost outpost of the Pohorje. Run by PD Slovenj Gradec. 18 beds in 5 rooms, a 40-seat dining room, bar, restrooms, central heating, running water, electricity, telephone. Open from 20 April to 15 October, closed on Tuesdays. The original cabin was burned down by partisans in 1944; it was rebuilt and reopened in 1948.
