The place

Unstaffed hut let by DNT Hadeland, located at 553 m on Sagvollen, about ten kilometres east of central Gran on the Hadeland plateau. The cabin has eight places split between a kitchen-living room, a lounge, and a bedroom, of which five bunks are in a shared dorm and three are additional places. Facilities: wood stove with wood provided, solar panels supplying 12 V, gas cooker, outdoor toilet, water from a well 100 m away. Canoes and rowing boats available on nearby lakes. Booking through DNT Hadeland, at least one DNT member required in the group, rate 700 NOK per night. Accessible by car year-round via a toll road, by bike from Gran in summer, and by ski from the Gjøvik-Oslo trail in winter.
