Kjølihytta

The place

Self-service cabin of Trondhjems Turistforening (DNT) located south of the Sylan massif, municipality of Holtålen (Trøndelag, Norway), at 1,045 metres elevation. An exposed position below the Kjølifjellet with open views east and south toward the Sylmassivet, Skardørsfjella, Vigelfjella and Riasten massifs. Ten sleeping spots in total: main building with eight spots and an annex with two, five bunks pre-bookable. Fireplace, wood stove, outdoor toilets, fishing possible. A stop on the southwest leg of the Sylan network toward Reitan at Haltdalen and Røros to the south, a day's link toward Nordpå to the north.
