Access from Thames via Banks Street/Kauaeranga Valley Road (gravel after 10 km). Swimming hole 5 minutes away; valley walks from 20 minutes to a full day. Close to Thames (20 min), Tairua/Pauanui (1 h), and Cathedral Cove (1.5 h).
