The place

Self-service DNT cabin of the Bergen og Hordaland Turlag, built in 2001 at 440 m in Nordhordland (Alver municipality, Vestland), at the heart of the Stølsheimen-Bergsdalen-Vossafjelli area. Expanded in 2019 with an annex building: 24 beds in total (18 in the annex, which has a separate dog room) between the main cabin and the annex. Open with a DNT key year-round. Shortest access from Nordkvingo via Kvingo in Masfjorden.
