Jim's Flat Hut

The place

Basic four-bunk hut managed by the Department of Conservation (DOC) in the Ahaura River and Lake Brunner catchment, Greymouth area on the West Coast (South Island, New Zealand), at 124 metres elevation. Free access. Reachable by vehicle on an unpaved track suitable for a modest 4x4: the "Jim's Flat" turnoff from Ahaura-Kopara Road, then a gravel road to the hut.
