The place

Pastoral hut in Haute-Ariège at 1981 metres, near the Ruisseau des Bésines north-east of the lake. Fireplace, one wooden sleeping platform for four people, one mattress and two camp beds. Occupied by a shepherd between 15 June and 15 October. Close to the GR10, the GR107 and the GRP Tour du Péric. Two possible approaches: via a poorly marked path leaving the GR10 on the way down from the Portéille des Bésines, or via the Refuge des Bésines following the GR107 towards the Étang des Bésines. Plenty of wood nearby, water source near the path between the hut and the footbridge.
