The place

Unguarded hut on the south face of Mont Ventoux, at 1514 m, accessible from Bedoin via the Combe d'Ansis then the Combe Fiole. One room fitted with a fireplace in good condition and firewood nearby. Average insulation, draught under the door; no water source nearby. Serves as a rustic shelter for hikers crossing the area. Bring self-sufficient bivouac gear and enough water.
