Traditional hunting cabin (Jagdhütte) on the Rhön (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve 1991, "Land der offenen Fernen", a plateau with far-reaching views), a zone of beech woods and mesotrophic grasslands, with the heritage of Rhönschaf cheese and the Bauhaus school founded in Weimar in 1919.
