Forest/hunting cabin ("Samsur", an old Ugric-Mansi surname), in a sub-boreal taiga zone with Pinus sylvestris + Picea obovata + Betula pendula and Khanty peat bogs, heritage of the Mansi people (Ugric people, 12,000, once a powerful confederation of Konda after the conquest by Yermak in the 1580s, subjugated by the Russian Empire, gradually losing their language and culture).
