Iron Whare ("iron hut" in NZ English, whare = house in Māori) in the Kaimanawa/Kaweka forest, Hawke's Bay region (New Zealand), at 937 m, upper Mohaka area. Continuous Kaimanawa cluster (batches 235+243+246). DOC corrugated-iron hut typical of the New Zealand bush, in Kaimanawa Forest Park (home of the wild Kaimanawa horses). Zone of beech forest (Fuscospora/Lophozonia) and tussock, deer/possum hunting.
