The place
The nomadic village of "Intamadé" in the Aïr Massif, Agadez region (Niger), at 560 m elevation, Iférouane/Timia area. A traditional Tuareg encampment using leather tents and straw huts, in a mountainous desert area. Part of the Aïr and Ténéré National Nature Reserve (UNESCO heritage site). Niger is missing from the country database.
