The place

Self-service DNT cabin by the sea in the Imarsundet strait on the island of Ertvågsøya (Aure, Møre og Romsdal, Norway), at 5 m elevation. Sleeps 35, open year-round. DNT key access. 12V electricity, mobile coverage. Two rowboats ("goat boats") available in the boathouse for all users; fishing gear and crab pots. Activities: boating in the strait, hiking to Ormbostadfjellet (328 m), fishing, kayaking among the skerries. Part of the SignaTur network. Bring your own bedding (sleeping bags not permitted) or rent sheets. Provisions to be bought on site (canned, dry goods). Payment via the DNT app. Access: 2.5 km toll road then a short walk.
