DOC standard hut with 12 bunks in Fiordland National Park, east side near Lake Manapouri, at 214 m. No booking, payment by hut tickets or Backcountry Hut Pass (10/5 NZ$ until 30 June 2026). **Invasive algae Didymo** present in Lake Manapouri and the Waiau River but not in the Iris Burn, Grebe and Spey rivers — precautions required for swimming, fishing, and boating.
